TODAY THE HUMANITIES FORUM HOSTS KAREN ORDAHL KUPPERMAN

TODAY in Ruane 105 at 3 p.m. The Humanities Forum will host Karen Ordahl Kupperman.  Dr. Kupperman will speak on ‘Pocahontas and the English Boys:  Caught Between Cultures in Early Virginia.’  She is Professor Emerita of History at New York University.  A historian and leading expert on the 16th and 17th century Atlantic world.  Dr. Kupperman is a renowned scholar who has been recognized as an American Philosophical Fellow, a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellow, and a National Humanities Center Fellow, among many accolades.  She earned a Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge and has held faculty appointments at the University of Connecticut, Harvard University, and New York University.  Please see the flyer below.  A reception will follow and all are welcome!
