The Diversity Committee seeks to inspire and create meaningful dialogue in the PC community by holding workshops and lectures to discuss various issues in our society that are also relevant to our campus. In recent years our events have taken many forms, namely lectures from high-profile speakers, round-table and panel discussions.
The Events Committee programs all major events hosted by BMSA, such as Cheesefest, Red Polo Day, and Cultural Jamboree. This committee strives to promote cultural awareness and inclusion through programming and student involvement.
The Marketing Committee is in charge of publicity and advertising events through all of our social media platforms. This committee oversees attire design, logos, and partnering with BMSA clubs and committees in the creation of event flyers.
The Outreach Committee organizes projects that allow BMSA members to foster community engagement not only on our campus, but within the greater Providence community as well. A few projects include Pumpkinfest, Holiday Appreciation, and Relay for Life. The committee creates new service initiatives while cosponsoring with various other student led groups on campus.
