Give yourself an early Christmas present – sign up for Campus Ministry’s Silent retreat January 11-12!
December 12, 2019
Please join Campus Ministry on our second annual Silent Retreat right before the start of spring semester. This short retreat features quiet prayer with our Lord at Cathedral Camp retreat center in East Freetown, Massachusetts on January 11th and 12th, 2020. The retreat will include reflection talks by Fr. Michael, Sr. Anne Frances, and JP Manning, opportunities for the sacraments, and time for personal prayer and reflection. Last year’s Silent Retreat was incredible and we are so excited to see what the Lord has in store for each of us in these moments of peace, relaxation, and quiet. Other than the talks by staff and the sacraments, this retreat will be made in total silence. This is our most unique retreat offering in that there are no small groups, games, or icebreakers, but simply time to experience the Lord in a peaceful and relaxed setting. We are so excited to share the graces of this beautiful weekend with you!
All retreatants will be able to move into their dorms early on Friday. We will drive to and from the retreat together, so no need to make special travel accommodations. The retreat will begin at 8 AM on Saturday morning. We will return to campus by 3 PM on Sunday afternoon.
If you are person with a disability and require an assistive device, service, or other accommodation to participate, please contact the Central Reservations Coordinator (401-865-2070; Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm) well in advance of this event.
