THIS THURSDAY – The Humanities Forum Hosts Carolyn Enger

This Thursday, September 19 at 3:00 pm in Ryan Concert Hall the Humanities Forum will host Carolyn Enger. Ms. Enger is based in the New York City area and travels the country sharing stories of Mishlinge (a derogatory Nazi term for those neither fully Jewish nor fully Aryan), such as her father, Horace J. Enger, and godmother, Rosemarie Steinfeld. Her multimedia presentation includes the music of German-Jewish-born and Israeli composers, along with first-person video and audio testimony, all combined to describe her family’s remarkable story. Presented in cooperation with the Jewish-Catholic Theological Exchange. A reception will follow, and please see the attached flier for details. All are welcome!
