Dining Announces New U COOK Station

On February 11, 2019, Raymond Dining Hall opened a new U COOK station.  The station, open Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Friday’s, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., encourages students to be creative and cook up something for themselves using the food items available at Raymond Hall Dining.

Currently, the station offers freshly chopped vegetable, cheeses, shelled and liquid eggs. However, the overall station’s concept is to inspire students to be inventive, grabbing items from other stations to create the perfect meal for their mood.

For example, choose fresh spinach and olives from the salad bar, pasta and parmesan cheese from the pasta station along with some chicken from the grill.  Toss it all together at U COOK, and you have yourself a custom pasta sauté.

If it can be sautéed, students can make it!

PC Dining Chefs will be holding cooking demonstrations, February 11-15 at Noon and 5 p.m., to assist students with equipment and to serve as a culinary guide.  Dining staff will also be available throughout the day to help the students and answer any questions that they may have.
