Whether you eat turkey, tofurky or just stick with pie; it’s important to remember that over the Thanksgiving break the librarians will be off feasting as well.  That means we will be CLOSED Wednesday, November 25-Friday, November 27.

vintage-closed-signWe re-open Saturday from 12-5pm.

Need to do research while we’re closed?  Never fear!  You have access to all of PC’s databases and eBooks from the comfort of your parent’s couch.  When you try to access library databases from off-campus, you’ll be prompted with a box that looks like this:

Library Delivery Changes

Posted by: on April 28, 2015   |Comments (0)|Announcements

Due to changes in the statewide library delivery system, all library deliveries will be suspended beginning May 1.  This means that patrons will be unable to request any materials from other Helin libraries until library delivery is restored.

PC patrons do still have full access to all of our electronic databases URL: http://providence.libguides.com/Databases_A_Z, as well as our extensive eBook collections accessible via EBL, and the Helin catalog

Access to Helin libraries is not changing, PC patrons are still able to go to other Helin libraries to pick up materials, but they will not be able to request those items be sent to Phillips Memorial Library though delivery.

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience.  If you have any questions about access, please call (401) 865-1993, text (401) 484-7004, email ask-a-librarian@lists.providence.edu or post a question on our online webform providence.edu/library.
