Rising before the dawn, Fr. Justin Brophy (@Fr_Bro), Assistant to the Chaplain, led a bus load of Providence College students to Washington, DC to participate in the annual March for Life. Early estimates suggest that up to 500,000 Right-to-Lifers will prayerfully and peacefully congregate in our nation’s capital to march from the White House to the Supreme Court in defense of human life.
Upon arriving in Washington this afternoon, our PC for Life students made camp at St. Dominic Church (where Frs. Cuddy and Brophy were ordained), explored the city, and then attended a lecture by Bryan Kemper, the founder of Rock for Life and Stand True. After that, they visited with our Dominican student brothers at the Dominican House of Studies, joined the community for Compline, and feasted on authentic DC pizza (i.e. Domino’s).
Check back here throughout Friday for updates as our valiant pilgrims March for Life.
